Homemade Gift Guide

This year has certainly had its ups and down. So, if you want to give something a little more personal, a little more special--we get it!
And maybe, a little more practical, with a custom seasoning that can be used all year long on family dishes. Try a taco seasoning or a popcorn topper with a tag designed on Canva and printed on Avery stickers.

If either crocheting or knitting is your thing, there's still time to whip up some thoughtful ornaments or pretty scarves for special recipients.

For years, we've given aunts and uncles some specially decorated cookies from our kids. It's a favorite holiday activity and a yummy treat all wrapped into one perfect gift!

Though not exactly "homemade," a custom photo calendar or album would be appreciated by the grandparents for sure! These are available in a variety of formats and styles. I like this one from Minted.

A cute gift we received a couple years ago was a homemade simmer pot. There are plenty of examples on Pinterest, and you can be really creative with packaging!

Another year, one of our favorite neighbors brought by a bag of puppy chow/muddy buddy the week of Christmas. Everyone was busy, and it was perfect timing for this sugary snack. You can even add some M&Ms to ramp up the festivity.
Half the fun with all of these gifts is wrapping them! Grab some plaid ribbon, jute string, tinsel, kraft bags, pretty tags, and get creative.
