Every few months, I have to make a stop in my local Trader Joe's to pick up a few favorite items! Similar versions can be found at Aldi's or other grocers, too.
Everything But the Bagel Seasoning- I sprinkle this on avocado toast, tuna and bagels. It's got a strong salty-oniony flavor and a little goes a long way.
Dried Mandarin Oranges - These are a great car or office snack. Just a few can satisfy sugar cravings without opting for a vending machine candy bar!
Taco Seasoning - I buy several packets for around $1 each because I use this weekly. When I run out, I mix up something similar based on the ingredients listed on the packet. It works well to season chicken, beef and beans.
Cheese - They have a great variety of hard cheeses at a really good price! I sampled this Reserve Somerset Red when I was in recently. It's the perfect time of year to enjoy cheese and crackers on the patio.
Rosemary Crackers - These go great with the hard cheeses!
Mushroom Flatbread - I've got one child who loves mushrooms, and this flatbread is great to pop in the oven as a side dish to a salad or when the rest of us are enjoying a pepperoni pizza.
I always leave Trader Joe's with a few bags full of family favorites and something new to try. It's a nice break in the monotony that is grocery shopping.
