Gift Guide for the Office!

Updated: Dec 4, 2023

This is generally the hardest group to shop for. How do you find appropriate, thoughtful and reasonably priced gifts for varied personalities, some of whom you know better than others? Today, we'll try to make that process a bit easier!

I love to bring in special treats from a local bakery. Then, you're supporting a small business and you're not shopping at the individual level for colleagues.

Gift cards--Is there a local pizza or coffee shop? Then, even smaller increment gift cards can be nice. When in doubt, Starbucks is always appreciated and works for colleagues in other locations.

If you've got a smaller group to shop for, these warming coffee mugs might be in the budget, and would definitely be an early morning luxury.

A mug filled with candy is office-appropriate and generic enough for all.

Beverages -- Wine, coffee or tea (depending on the individual). I think these Lavazza coffee bags and tea tin are festive!

A thoughtfully-written card, especially one supporting a charity, is a great way to support an organization. These are frequently created by arts organizations, such as this set from The Art Institute of Chicago.

Local chocolates or molded chocolates can be wrapped beautifully and very giftable. If you're feeling really ambitious, you could even make them yourself.

It's always hard to find the right gifts for colleagues, but gestures small or large can make the holidays brighter in the office!
