Monday Musings: Spring In Words

Spring is a time for fresh starts and new endeavors. It’s a season that holds promise for growth, rebirth and renewal. I haven’t always appreciated the significance of spring, but I now look forward to the hope and energy in these months leading up to summer. Below are sentimental words to honor spring’s beauty and wonder:

"Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer."

— Anita Krizzan

"Despite the forecast, live like it's spring."

— Lilly Pulitzer

"The beautiful spring came; and when nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also."

— Harriet Ann Jacobs

“My favorite weather is bird chirping weather.”

—Terri Gullemets

"April hath put a spirit of youth in everything."

— William Shakespeare

"Where flowers bloom so does hope."

– Lady Bird Johnson

"Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love."

—Sitting Bull

"Hope sleeps in our bones like a bear waiting for spring to rise and walk."

— Marge Piercy

"A life without love is like a year without spring." —Octavian Paler

What do you love the most about spring?
