In the last month, I have enjoyed two fun audiobooks by Katherine Center.

The first, The Rom-Commers, was the story of struggling writer Emma Wheeler who finds herself in a writing partnership with bestselling screenwriter Charlie Yates. Emma is lovable, and her family is wonderful!

The second was The Love Haters. This time, the protaganist is a mid-level film producer who tells a few white lies to land a gig filming a Coast Guard rescuer named Hutch. Again, the characters are all so lovable.

Be prepared, though, for some pretty unbelievable stories. The series of events that leads to the meeting of Emma and Charlie is not realistic, but the overall story is worth suspending your disbelief. In The Love Haters, the ending is a little ridiculous, but in a charming, "wink, wink" kind of way. It's almost like author Katherine Center is acknowledging that it's silly, but totally fun .

Now, the reason I titled this post "Audiobooks" is because the narrator is phenomenal! In fact, this is the first time I've searched out a second audiobook because I enjoyed the narrator, Patti Murin, so much. If you're looking to take a break from reality and enjoy some romantic comedy, I highly recommend some Katherine Center narrated by Patti Murin.
