Tuesday Morning Tidy: Getting Crafty: Party Decor

Last week, we shared some ideas for kids' birthday party themes. But if you've been around awhile, you know that we love to get crafty too! So, today we've got a number of fun projects for your next festive occasion!

Pom Pom Decor - With just a simple little pom pom maker, you can create everything from vase filler to wreaths. If you already have yarn around, this is easy on the budget and something even the youngest crafters can tackle.

Paper Decor - Fold it or cut it; if you've got a colorful stack of paper, you can totally decorate! Paper-Source is a great resource for good ideas and beautiful paper. Check out these projects for your next party!

Fabric: I once bought a couple of fat quarters from the fabric store and made a bunting for decorating at a birthday party. I then recycled it for bedroom decor. Here's an example from Laura Radnieki's blog. These fabrics would be cute ripped into strips or cut into different shapes for all kinds of different buntings and banners:

Once you get started, there are more ideas than time! So, have fun and get creative!
