Spring is around the corner, and in preparation, I’m tackling a few things around the house. They’re indoor projects that have made a significant difference.
Repainted the mudroom and home office - This painting project has been long overdue, and I am so glad the walls and trim are fresh and clean!
Decluttered office - To prepare for the painting, I had to clear out all the cabinets in the office and mudroom. In the process, I purged two large trash bags of items, which thinned out the art supplies, books and outdated paperwork. In addition, we moved out an art desk and chair from the room that hadn‘t been used in more than a year.
Installed a new light fixture in the office and rearranged the small pieces of furniture in the room to open up the space.
Replaced the fabric overlay on the large cork board in the mudroom. I am so excited about the new pattern that matches the paint colors nicely.
Spring will be a lot of outdoor tasks, but the winter has been all about the inside of our home!
