Slow-Cooker Cinnamon Apples Recipe

One of my favorite things about fall is the delicious flavors. This easy, slow-cooker cinnamon apples recipe is a hit with my family!

- 6 apples of your choice sliced (and peeled, if you prefer)

- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 3 tablespoons of corn starch (we use arrowroot powder)

- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

- pinch of salt

- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Step 1: In the slow-cooker, mix the apples, both sugars, corn starch (or arrowroot powder), cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

Step 2: Cube the butter and add to the mixture.

Step 3: Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Step 4: Serve warm.

These apples are delectable by themselves or you can serve them with ice cream.

Let us know what you think of this warm, fall inspired treat.
