If you're still trying to figure out what to prepare for Friday night, I have two recipes that are crowd pleasers and perfect for the fall! They're also easy to make and so delicious!
Slow Cooker Cinnamon Apples
Ingredients:
- 6 apples of your choice sliced (and peeled, if you prefer)
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons of corn starch (we use arrowroot powder)
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Instructions:
Step 1: In the slow-cooker, mix the apples, both sugars, corn starch (or arrowroot powder), cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Step 2: Cube the butter and add to the mixture.
Step 3: Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Step 4: Serve warm.
Pumpkin Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 can of pumpkin
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. of cinnamon
- 1 tsp. of ginger or pumpkin pie spice

Directions:
With an electric mixer, blend the softened cream cheese and powered sugar in a bowl. Then add the pumpkin and spices. Blend the mixture until it's smooth. Chill for at least two hours (I usually let mine sit overnight). You can dip apple slices, graham crackers and gingers snaps into it for a mouth-watering snack.
I hope you enjoy!
