These "What I'm Loving" posts are so often about a favorite new product or podcast. Today, I'm sharing my appreciation for my local hardware store.
Where I live, we have Ace Hardwares in just about every part of town, conveniently located for picking up a quick tool or supply when in the middle of a project. But that's really only where the fun begins!

I went at the beginning of planting season to get some basic tomatoes, annual flowers, and a few other standard items for our landscape. Inside, I was reminded what a fun place this is to browse! We found the most unusual and interesting variety of items:
our favorite Meat Church seasonings
cow figurines doing yoga poses to perch on the side of your potted plant
button battery packs for car keys and tiny remote controls
Feit outdoor string lights (my favorite)
nostalgic candy
Next time you have a rainy day, or you need to make a hardware store stop--try your local hardware store. Wander the aisles; you truly never know what you might find!
